Entrance To Rockefeller Center - Beauty Of Symmetry Collection
Yesterday two of my favorite travel photographers - Ken Kaminesky and Elia Locardi - held a photo-walk in New York City. I'm a little embarrassed to say this is the first photo walk I have been on, but excited to go on future walks as they happen and I was not disappointed!
Not only were there awesome prizes for everyone, but they had also teamed up with some amazingly knowledgable guides from Walks Of New York. As we toured around some of the more famous landmarks, our guide would let us know about the history of some of the different buildings, why it was important, records it currently or previously held and who had built it and why that was important. We visited Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Station and the Chrysler building and learned a lot about all of them.
This is one of the shots I took while on the photo walk. Big thanks to Ken and Elia for setting it up and sharing their love of photography while in New York.
