The War General's Tomb
A few month ago a friend of our was in town staying with us while visiting. One morning he decided to go up and see Grant's Tomb in the Upper West Side with another friend of ours from College who was attempting to visit the tombs of as many past presidents as possible. Sadly, I was a little overloaded with work at the time and had to turn him down, but after seeing the pictures of the place I was determined to make a visit happen before we wrapped up our time in New York City.
Yesterday, I made the time to go see this impressive tomb and thought it would be a good place to take a full 180 degree plus vertorama image.
I was glad to find that they allowed tripods and went right to work. This is a combination of about 6 images stitched together in Photoshop. I would have never known about Grants Tomb or that it was just a 45 minute subway stop away had it not been for my friends, so this image is dedicated to the two of them for tipping me off about this impressive grave.
